  • Вышла версия RInform 0.8.3 и альфа-версия RInform для Glulx. Поддержка Glulx позволит использовать в играх мультимедиа (картинки, ссылки, аудио), расширенные возможности оформления, символы Unicode, поддержку Javascript (ещё не тестировалась) и писать игры большего размера (до 4 гигабайт против 512 килобайт в Z-машине).

    Эта новелла — участник конкурса NaNoRenO 2015, прошедший переиздание.




  • Автор платформы Adventuron представил бета-версию инструмента для рисования диаграмм зависимости загадок. Синтаксис похож на Graphviz и поддерживает русские названия событий. Автор работает над скачиваемой версией.
  • Компания Failbetter объявила об увольнениях и задержке игры Sunless Skies.
  • Новая менюшная онлайн-платформа в эстетике парсера: StoryAwaits. Пример игры можно посмотреть по ссылке.
  • Приём работ на конкурс компании Choice of Games закончен. Получено 25 работ; через несколько недель жюри объявит результаты первого раунда. Конкурс шёл с 1 ноября 2016 года по 31 января 2018 года. Приз за первое место — $5000, за второе — $3000, за третье — $2000, и всем играм, не занявшим призовое место, будет предложено вступить в программу публикации Hosted Games. Стоит отметить, что коммерческая публикация игр на ChoiceScript вне компании Choice of Games запрещена.
  • Ludipe объявил джем детективных игр No Shit Sherlock Jam. Участникам предлагается «починить детективные игры» как жанр. Публикация игр будет доступна с 8 по 17 марта. Ограничений по жанрам геймплея нет. Призов и соревнования нет.
